Why EMS?

First responders and EMS personnel have devoted themselves to a career that revolves around helping people. Every single day they spend their time assisting those in their greatest hour of need while providing lifesaving care.

This generous and humanitarian spirit is even backed by scientific research – studies have indicated that those who choose to become first responders are exponentially more altruistic than the general population, and therefore far more likely to go that extra mile to help someone who they don’t even know.
